Jubilation-storms for Verdis requiem...
The performance of the "Missa da requiem" of G. Verdi on Sunday in the sold out MuK was cheered stormily. ... With the soloists, the two women-voices protruded in moving beauty. ... Veronika Waldner could win over in the mezzo-soprano with splendid songs.
WT, Lübecker Nachrichten, 20.02.2007
... Here, Sunday presented itself a quartet from three ensemble-members and a colleague moved into the distance recently in top condition. A first climax offered the "Liber scriptus" of the outstanding mezzo-soprano Veronika Waldner; from big tenderness the duet in the "Recordare" with "repatriate Mardi Byers (soprano) ...
Güz, Lübecker Stadtzeitung, 20.02.2007
... However, the crown of the evening is worth Veronika Waldner, of whom one still was able to tell by the sound her outstandingly abysmal Ortrud. She sang with big expression and a simply fascinating voice. If once she itself for the Italian compartment in Lübeck or others for me attainable opera-houses extremely interestingly did, then, I don't know either...

27.10.2003, "Das
Lied von der Erde" v. G. Mahler
1. Chamber-concert with the philharmonic orchestra of the Hanseatic town Lübeck
under the management of Bruno Merse
In the audience-hall of the Lübecker town hall, an almost church atmosphere prevailed. The listeners seemed to be one something with it on the stage before itself went: And that was wonderful. The performance of Gustav Mahlers "the song of the earth" in the chamber-setting from Arnold Schönberg belongs to the evenings, that will remain in memory... ... How done for the melancholy of the Mahler-Werkes voice and radiation of Veronika Waldner were. Her dynamic possibilities alone were enormous: from the quietest piano as far as into the strongest forte, the voice carried, still had volumes and strength also in the most tender passages. With bravo- calls and exuberant applause, the concert finished.

2001, Winterreise v. Franz Schubert
in a production of Holk Freytag in the playhouse of Wuppertal
... The mezzo-soprano Veronika Waldner has a warm one, from soul inspired voice, in the lyric piano-sounds of captivating deep beauty. She shapes very much taken back, with female sensitivity, and overgrows for her impressive expression-gravity however. The public appeared supremely seized and put above all Veronika Waldners big performance in the center of the enthusiastic applause.

... Holk Freytags last risk after 13 years of directorship is a wonderful event, rightly furiously rejoised. Veronika Waldner climbs in the course into the pictures, is playing the scenery incredibly versatile. She steps, with which she perceptively accompanied Bernhard Stengel, in real dialogue with the music. With a wonderful voice, that fills the whole area in the most severe need and is able to carry her as suffering, yearning individual. This evening is able to only enrich the knowledge about Schuberts's last trip into the wasteland of the soul.

Weihnachtsoratorium v. J.S. Bach
with the cathedral choir, the choir of the department church-music and

... Veronika Kumer (now Waldner) as a stage-tried alto does her arias ("sleep) my sweetheart" and "clasp my heart...) to climaxes of the performance: Her voice is well received evenly like a precious instrument in all situations, she is stylistic perfect.
