What is donationware?
Donationware is something between freeware and shareware. you may download the software for free. However, If you like the software and decide to use it, then I would be grateful if you would make a small donation. Much the same as Shareware, there is no fixed price. You can donate as much, or as little as you wish. The ongoing development, publishing of my software is financed purely by voluntary donations.

Why should I donate something?
TelMemPlus has meant not just hundreds of working hours, but support and continued development require me to spend much more involvement. In addition there are always-increasing costs for publishing (web space/traffic fees).
I would like to support newer Sagem mobiles, and is not my intention to become rich with donation ware. but I do need another phone for testing and experimentation purposes. I would much prefer to publish my software as shareware or what else. But in the long term, projects such as TelMemPlus can only survive if donations come in.

How much should I give?
As I have said before, I don't expect great amounts. You can choose your own donation amount. If everybody made a small donation, then I would be very grateful. In order to get the code just a small donation would be sufficient. Don't worry if you don't have much money, I'm grateful for every Cent.

What advantages will I get by donating a small amount?
In the long term, donations are required to keep my TelMemPlus project alive. The advantage to you, is firstly, you will no longer see the donation hint. And secondly I reserve the right to limit my support to those users who donated something.     I receive many emails a day, so I may need to reserve this option.
Of course, all donors are considered, and when I decide to write any further software, no matter which kind of software it may be, everyone who has supported me in the past will get a license for free if required.

What will your donations will be used for?
Most of your donations are used for development, support and publishing TelMemPlus. To offer better support of newer Sagem mobiles, such as the my X-6, it would  be very beneficial if I had one experimentation and testing. So with your donation I will buy this either a MYX-6 or whatever is available in the future, but only when I have sufficient funds..

Are there any statistics of incoming donations?
Yes, there are. If you take a look at the TelMemPlus website, you'll find a section named "Country Top 10...". Here you will see how many people have donated something and in which countries they live.

How can I donate something?
There are three ways to support TelMemPlus by donation. The first is to put some coins (or even a note) into a letter and send it to me. The other one is to send me your donation by money transfer. May I give nothing at all, but nevertheless remove the donation hint?
As I have said before, TelMemPlus has taken me many hours to produce, and I don't wish to force anyone to support me, however, if you use TelMemPlus often (the hint doesn't bother you) and you are not ready to donate anything, then, I don't see a reason for removing the hint. I am by no means begging for your money, and I don't expect a great amount, but make just a tiny donation, and the hint will disappear.

I would like to run TelMemPlus on several computers. Do I need to donate more than once?
No, of course not. If you donated anything to me, you'll get additional donation codes if you need them for removing the donation hint at your second or third machine.

What about gifts in kind instead of donating money?
Your donation does not have to be monetary, useful items are also welcome. I'm thinking about Prepaid-Cards (provider should be available in Germany), used Sagem mobiles which are currently not fully supported, or other items that might help me to improve my software.

May I use my Paypal account to send my donation?
Yes, you can. Right after you clicked the "Continue" button, you'll find my e-mail address for Paypal.
